+ What makes a gharara different from a sharara?

A traditional gharara is shaped more closely from the waist through the thigh, with a seam around the knee where the fuller lower section begins. That seam may be highlighted with a border or trim. A sharara generally widens from higher on the leg without the same defining knee seam. Modern designs vary, so use the photographs and description of the selected outfit to check its actual cut.
